Inspirations from EuroCucina 2014
Day 2 at EuroCucina 2014
Following on from yesterday, for our second day at the fair, we are still getting through the exhibits in EuroCucina. We saw a few more integrated living spaces on Day 2, with the continuation of open shelving used to connect the kitchen, living, dining and bedrooms. This space from Doimo Cucine also shows another trend we see at the fair, pendant lighting. Although this is not new, there is a distinct ‘accessory’ trend emerging.
Need herbs for your cooking? This dining extension from Doimo Cucine (www.doimocucine.it) ties in the open shelving
This children’s bedroom from Cucinesse features the open shelving again with built-in desk. In this design, the bed can also be folded back to keep the room looking uncluttered.
No chance of an untidy room when you have storage like this (www.cucinesse.it)
This kitchen represents the underlining theme of what we have seen at EuroCucina so far. The Industrial chic that features open shelves, raw, unpolished materials and clean lines was on display from the Marchi Group. We could see this kitchen in a chic warehouse conversion (www.marchicucine.com) a definite trend from EuroCucina 2014
Off to Bathrooms tomorrow. So stay tuned!
