Sublime Wins 2012 Hia Australian Kitchen Project Of The Year

Queensland based Sublime Luxury Kitchens and Bathrooms is the winner of the 2012 HIA Australian Kitchen Project of the Year. The winning project was unveiled today at The HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards prestigious awards ceremony held at the Cairns Convention Centre.

The HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards recognise the nation’s top builders and designers. Winners are selected from a list of state-based finalists, with awards delivered in 20 separate categories (see full list below).

This award, partnered by The Laminex Group, recognises excellence in the construction, design appearance and innovation of kitchens.

Designed as a space that would act as a centre point for all activities, this kitchen was constructed to bring elements of the outside in. To maintain a minimalist look, the kitchen is fitted with integrated appliances and electronic drawers to eliminate handles. Integrated LED strip lights between the upper plaster ceiling and the laminated ceiling are also incorporated. The judges showed appreciation for the finish and flush-fitting of the benchtops, which they acknowledge would have been difficult to execute but are faultless in their workmanship.

Sublime Luxury Kitchens and Bathrooms also won the prestigious  HIA Kitchen Design of the Year 2012.
