Kim Duffin Wins 2013 HIA-CSR Australian Kitchen Design of the Year

Sublime Luxury Kitchens and Bathrooms has been awarded 2013 HIA-CSR Australian Kitchen Design of the Year at the 2013 HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards, which recognise the nation’s top builders and designers.

The winning project was unveiled on Friday, 3 May 2013 before hundreds of industry leaders at the prestigious HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards ceremony held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.Winners were selected from a list of state-based finalists with Queensland’s Sublime Luxury Kitchens and Bathrooms winning the Australian Kitchen Design of the Year for the second year in a row.

“The competition this year was fierce with excellent entries coming from Victoria and Western Australian. Winning one of the top kitchen design awards for the second time is great recognition for my ability and experience in this area. It makes everything worthwhile and inspires me to keep pushing the boundaries with my design. It is also nice to be recognised twice in a row for my design ability. It is hard for a designer to be consistently at the top of their game. I feel honoured.” Said Kim.

Kim has also won the HIA Australian Kitchen Designer of the Year previously in 2006 and has also been awarded the Kitchen and Bathroom Design Institute’s Australian Certified Designer of the Year and Australian Kitchen Designer of the year. The judges commented that “the custom pattern on the glass pantry doors takes the wow factor to another level”.

Kim Duffin and the team at Sublime Luxury Kitchen and Bathrooms is now Australia’s most awarded Kitchen Design business with over 60 awards granted in less than seven years. Being awarded such titles reflects on Sublime Luxury Kitchens and Bathrooms commitment to providing their clients with a truly personalised service, innovative ideas and kitchens, which inspire through the use of quality materials and innovative manufacturing techniques.
